The VR Concept were proud sponsors of the 2018 British Animation Awards Expanded Animation Category. It was a pleasure to help out with the judging panel earlier this year, where we organised all of the entries and made sure we could show each one to the judges on the best hardware.
On 15th March we attended the awards night. We gave the guests a chance to try out each of the three finalist experiences. Once the awards were completed (with the excellent I am Peter Stillman winning the Expanded Animation category), we then provided a little more entertainment running our classic Zombie games for the guests until late in the evening.
Below are the shortlisted experiences, all of which were fantastic to try out. Well done to all of them!
This VR Experience that draws the user into the deeply emotional and disorientating story fo Daniel Quinn. The thrilling experience combines hand-drawn animation and cutting edge technology to distort the line between reality and action, placing audiences at the centre of this narrative as the haunting story unfolds.
